WINTER 2021: End of season ski touring

We thought this season would never happen! Thankfully, the pandemic second wave had receded by early march and we able to stop working and return to our winter home in the Alps. Whilst resorts remained closed, the mountains were open, with terrific potential to explore mountains that were nearly empty. Provided we were prepared to “earn every turn” by walking up the hills on skis fitted with skins and skiing down only as far as we had walked up!
