A cycle ride across France

OK, this is cheating a bit as we did this in 2018, so technically it predates our retirement. But… we thought we’d put it in anyway. Starting in Roscoff (having taken the ferry from Plymouth) we took three weeks to cycle to Italy. First down to the Loire at Nantes, then along the Loire valley until halfway across France. We detoured through the southern bit of Burgundy, crossing the Jura mountain range (we found a sneaky tunnel through the worst of it!) and on to the Alps, ultimately finishing at the top of the Petit St Bernard pass on the Italian border. Hope you enjoy the video…
