Just over a year ago, we had a great day skiing fresh powder with our friends Gary and Kristine. Unfortunately, they can’t join us for a holiday this year, so we have put together this little video to cheer them up (!). The spring snow conditions are terrific, and although the lack of any lifts makes the ascent that much harder, we are rewarded with empty slopes all the way down. Looking forward to skiing with you both next winter…

Dear Cate and Jono, what treat at the end of a particularly trying week in no order, van giving up the ghost, breaking down (van not me mentally) in a tiny village, traffic jams in central Cambridge and then on the A1 four miles from home and finally this evening falling off my horse! No such hiccups for you though wonderful Spring conditions all to yourselves with just a gentle flog uphill! Fantastic! Truly it must be wonderful and your video, together with a dedication, a lovely reminder of that glorious day last year.
Looking ahead, we can only hope for better things for the summer and next season when we’d love to see you and share the steep and deep. Xx
Hope you’ve not sustained any injuries from your fall. I’d suggest that skiing is safer, if it wasn’t for my own accident last year! Looking forward to skiing with you both next winter.
