We made the most of a short weather window! Our friend Gary has been in Val d’Isere for the week with his mate Ryan, and they invited us to join them for the morning. They had hired a guide and we set off to Le Fornet for some routes there.
The picture shows sunshine, but it only lasted a few hours. By the time we had finished lunch, it was snowing (even raining further down the valley) and the afternoon was spent on-piste trying to find our way in the fog
