Just a very short entry for today, the first day of our trip. We have not really cycled – except to and from some train stations, but it has been a busy day. We set off from London, cycling along the towpath besides the Thames (hence Cate in the photo)), then took a tube to St Pancras, the Eurostat to Brussels, and another train to Namur. It has been a rainy and cold day. But great to meet up with our friends Sally and Moris in Namur. They will be joining us for the first two proper days of cycling that will begin tomorrow morning. Hopefully the weather will improve 🤞.
